As an experienced workshop facilitator, I’m adept at creating a supportive learning environment in which participants can learn new creative skills, meet new people and build confidence. Participants will see improvements in their mental health and wellbeing. Tackling isolation by encouraging the development of peer support networks and encouraging new friendships.
Running energizing, entertaining, and creative workshops. Clients include The V&A Museum, The British Library, and The Women’s Institute and communities locally and globally. In my workshops I guide and nurture students step by step through each of the stages of their work, making sure they are given attention and encouragement to voice their opinions and stories in a safe and supportive environment and learn new skills.

GROW YOUR CREATIVE BUSINESS
A day for creative people, who happen to be parents, looking to develop their business
From promoting yourself in the press and social media, learning to sell to anyone and key time management skills. This one-day workshop, led by award-winning graphic artist Rose Hill (Rose Hill Designs), will introduce actionable and proven techniques to help you develop your creative business. Rose and a panel of creative experts, including social media influencer Emily Quinton (Makelight), Kat Molesworth (Blogtacular) and sales expert Alison Edgar (The Entrepreneurs Godmother) will share realistic and practical ideas to help you create a road map for your business.
MARY QUANT - INSPIRED PATTERN DESIGN
Learn the art of pattern design with illustrator Rose Hill in this one-day workshop inspired by our Mary Quant exhibition. Over the course of the day, you will create your own 60s-inspired mood board, learn five essential drawing techniques, colour theory, and essential pattern styles. By the end of the session, you will have created your own collection of 1960s-inspired fashion prints to take away.
SUNDIAL COMMUNITY MURAL WORKSHOPS
The workshops are the foundation for the mural content and are suitable for everyone and anyone and are totally inclusive. By teaching creative art activities (including colour theory and pattern design) the workshops will build new creative skills that people can apply in the future.
Workshop with Downright Excellent (DEx) a charity for children and young people with Down syndrome
"Rose is an incredible artist and I gained more than I could have imagined by attending these workshops. It felt incredible to be included in designing the mural along with other participants as it gave me a huge sense of belonging, a place of safety, and something positive that I could mindfully engage in each week. I’m incredibly grateful to have participated in these workshops as it had so many positive impacts on my mental health symptoms and also gave me an opportunity to feel like I was contributing to the community. A huge thank you to Rose for running this project!! “
